Born June 18, 2009 in Lansing, the son of Shawnee Spitler and Robert Cooper, our beautiful “Mister Boy” entered into eternal life on June 9, 2011. Brayden has been a miracle from the start and will continue to be so. A life taken too soon, he added joy to all of our lives. He will forever be missed. Waiting for him will be Grandpa Brian; Great-grandparents; Bert, Wilma Jean, David, Viola, Kenneth “Jack” and Joyce. Left behind are his parents, Shawnee and Robert; siblings, Bryant Scott Sowers, Kaylee Malynn Spitler-Cooper and Keonah Marie Ruth Horner-Cooper; Grandparents; Linda and Clay Brewer, Dawn Spitler, Robin Cooper, Tom Meyers, Mark and Teresa Cooper; aunts and uncles; Chris Cooper, Shannon and Todd Graham, Bennie Brewer, Tracy and Mark Johnson, Jason Zimmerman and Amber Zimmerman; cousins; Sierra Marie Bates, Landen Cooper and Jillian Johnson; Great-Grandparents; Robert Cowles and Ima Jean, and Joann Spitler; and several more aunts, uncles and cousins. Brayden’s family will celebrate his life on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt. The family will receive visitors 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brayden Michael Spitler Memorial Fund, c/o MSU Federal Credit Union or to the Brayden Michael Spitler Memorial Fund, c/o Lansing Automakers Credit Union, in memory of Brayden. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home for the service.
