Carl Ashley

He was born on December 15, 1932 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, to Minnie and Wilson Ashley.

Carl proudly served in the U.S. National Guard right out of high school. He had a successful career as a supervisor at General Motors, from which he retired after many years of dedicated service. In his retirement, Carl never missed a trip to the casino and he enjoyed spending time playing pool with his friends. He was very proud of his MVP status in his pool league. Carl was also an avid golfer and softball player.

Carl is survived by his three sons, Mike (Carol) Ashley, Jim (Patti) Ashley, and Tom (Melanie) Ashley; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret.

A memorial service for Carl will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel, 205 E Washington St., DeWitt, MI 48820. A visitation will immediately follow the service and will conclude at 3:00 PM.
