Cecilia Marie Byrnes

Cecilia (CeCe) Marie Byrnes of Haslett passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 74. CeCe was born on September 18, 1951, to Francis and Maureen Ann Byrnes in Lansing, Michigan. CeCe graduated from Eastern High School in 1969. She obtained an Associates of Art at Lansing Community College, and later completed her Bachelor of Arts at Michigan State University. She was a teacher’s assistant for adult education in the Lansing School District. CeCe loved music and her nieces and nephews.

Cecilia is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Maureen; her sisters Eileen Anita Byrnes, Cynthia Soderberg and her niece, Amanda Clark.

Cecilia is survived by her step-mother, Shirley (Gary) Piellusch of Lake City; siblings, Kevin (Lisa) Byrnes of Fort Myers, Florida , Susan (Norman) Snyder of Bath, Patrick (Teresa) Byrnes of Lake City; Nieces and nephews, Brian, Candace (Jordan), Samatha, Cody, Kirsten, Colby, Corey; great- nephew, Parker and great-niece, Everly.
