Crista Ann Feldpausch

Born on August 17, 1968, in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph Feldpausch and Patricia (Piechowski/Feldpausch) Richards. Crista built a fulfilling career that spanned over two decades with an insurance and financial group before transitioning into real estate. Her professional journey reflected her dedication and adaptability.

Crista was a talented cook and an exceptional baker. Her homemade meals and desserts were cherished by many. Known for her quick wit and warm sense of humor, she brought laughter and light to gatherings with family and friends. A generous spirit, she found true joy in helping others and was always ready to lend a hand to those in need.

Crista delighted in life’s simple pleasures— gardening, crafting, decorating her home for holidays and parties, and caring for her two beloved cats. Most notably, Tia as she was known by many, was an avid supporter of her daughter, niece, nephew, and grandson's academics, sports, careers and hobbies. Her presence, her care and her love brought joy to everyone around her and will be deeply missed.

Crista is survived by her father Joseph (Elizabeth) Feldpausch; sister Sherry (Stacy) Kortman; niece Madison Kortman; nephew Colin Kortman; daughter Andrea Brown; grandson John Patrick Brown; aunt Carol Piechowski; sisters-in-law Diane Barker, Sherri Parish, Suzie Kietzman, Laurie Scott; and numerous friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Richards.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Crista’s memory. In lieu of flowers, donations in Crista’s memory are suggested to the American Heart Association.
