Devon Jefferey Christmas

February 9, 1994February 27, 2018

Devon Jefferey Christmas, son of Deward and Roni Christmas was born to Michelle Christmas on February 9, 1994. Devon loved nature and reveled in a beautiful sunny day for one last time on February 27, 2018, doing one of the things he loved; enjoying kayaking on the Grand River. Devon found great happiness in nature, music, reading, animals, being on the water and spending time with his family and friends. He was always excited to learn new things and to share his knowledge with those around him. Devon was always smiling and his good nature and great sense of humor were appreciated by anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. Devon had a soft spot in his heart for the homeless. He was greatly loved by his family. He left behind, to cherish his memory, his moms and dad, Grandma Lehman, aunts and uncles: Jamie and Russell, Tonya and Jesse, Shane and Rebecca, Steve and Sandy, Greg, Tina, his cousins: A.J., Ransom, Spencer, Jessie, Jack, Jagger, Shaelynn, Owen, Tanner, Tessa, Nate and Sara and their families, Christina, Holly (Josh) and his large extended family and friends. A visitation for Devon will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington St., DeWitt, MI. The first night I met you was at Tim Hortons and you were jamming to music. I thought it was quite funny actually.
You made me laugh every time I saw you, especially when you would go through the drive thru backwards and order an extra large English Toffee cappuccino with 6 shots of espresso to get you through your nights of snow plowing.
