Donald Spanburg was born on March 16, 1924 in Stockbridge, MI and died on March 6, 2012 in Lansing, at the age of 87. He retired from Capital Wholesale Distributors. Donald served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Donna Rae; daughter, Donna (John) Fenn of San Diego, CA; sons, Scott (Debbie) Spanburg of Baltimore, Maryland and John Spanburg of Lansing; grandchildren Lesley and Nicole Spanburg; brothers, Larry (Marjorie) Spanburg of Leslie, Jim Spanburg of Florida, Chuck Spanburg of Grand Ledge and sister Jeanne (Joe) Regan of Florida. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington Ave., DeWitt, MI with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
