Dorothy Florence Weinman

WEINMAN, DOROTHY F., age 100, of DeWitt, MI, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2018. She was born March 6, 1918 in Washington D. C., the daughter of Arthur and Lillian McNabb. She graduated from Lansing Central High School in 1936 and became an employee of Diamond-REO Co. for over 25 years. Dorothy was an amazing woman, a proud and loving spirit and a joy to all who knew her. She felt a great concern for others and loved making people feel good. This was shown with her many acts of kindness, her encouraging words and pleasing smile. She was a faithful member of South Baptist Church for over 50 years. Her deep faith in the Lord was the center of her life. She was a life-time Deaconess, an active member of Mission Focus and a willing volunteer for other church functions. Preceding her in death, besides her parents, was her husband Harold Weinman, her daughter Sherry Patton, her sister Iva Cunkleman, a brother, Ernest McNabb and a step-son, Robert Weinman. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Stephen) Tibbetts of Edwards, Mo., 2 granddaughters, Lisa Williams and Michelle Fortin; grandson Kevin Pierson and step grandsons Jeff and Chris Weinman, six great grandchildren plus many nieces and nephews.

There will no Funeral Services at this time.

Harold and I were very fond of Dorothy. She was a wonderful kind woman. Our hearts and prayers are with her family at this time of loss.
