Born April 28, 1970, Doug passed away on October 23, 2010, at age 40. Preceding him in death was his father, Douglas Lee Ruble, Sr. and aunt, Margie Bobier. Doug is survived by the mother of his children, Lisa; 2 daughters, Alexis Michelle, Jade Marie; mother, Jennifer (Steven) Fernand; 5 sisters, Laura (Tim) Barnett, Barb (Jon) Whitney, Sally Brown, Stephanie (Aaron) Sebrell, and Emily Fernand. Douglas was a devoted father who loved his children dearly. He was always generous and caring to all that knew him. Being a dedicated patriot to his country, Doug enjoyed flying as a pilot. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 29, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior at the Northpointe Community Church, 505 Webb Road, DeWitt, MI with Rev. Tad Jameson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, October 28, from 5-8 p.m. For those desiring, contributions may be made to the Family for the children.
