Eric Matthew Simmer

Eric was born on October 11,1976 to Bernard and Linda Simmer at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. He is survived by his parents and siblings: Gregory (Deb) Simmer, Lisa Simmer, Jennifer (Rob) Edgar, Amy (Bruce) Anderson, Rebecca (Michael) Dionise, Kyle (Elizabeth) Simmer; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Eric was a miracle, a fighter, one of the purest of humans God could make. He lived a life full of obstacles and setbacks but always seemed to surprise everyone by pushing through. “Sweet boy, you are now free from the pain and all the obstacles that were put in your way. We hope you are smiling again! We have missed that smile. We hope you find all the McDonalds’ and ice cream you can eat. We hope you get to go bye-bye as many times as you want. And we hope you get to watch Star Wars on a continuous loop! We love you with all our hearts and will see you one day!”
