Beloved husband of 18 years to Deborah Chedester; Dear father of Craig (Marquilla) Chedester and Dylan (Abbie) Chedester, LaMonti Brown, Luther (Amy) Brown, and Donecia (fiancé Marlo) Brown; Proud grandfather of ten with one great grandchild on the way! Loving brother of Norine Buxton and Lonnie Sherman; Caring brother-in-law of David Robinson. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Sr. and Louise Chedester; siblings, Eugene Chedester and Randy Chedester. Ernest retired from General Motors after 30 years of dedicated service as well as proudly served in the United States Army.
A visitation for Ernest will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E Washington, DeWitt, MI 48820, followed by a funeral services at 2:00 PM. Military honors will follow under the auspices of the United States Army.
