Uncle George was way more then a uncle to me.and my brother steven.there are so many memories from being his golf caddy to hunting partner.he will be missed but always remembered!

It has been many years since I've seen George. But I will never forget his country style of singing and the wonderful special music he would render at Lakeside Chapel. I also enjoyed a few rounds of golf with him. He was a gentle giant with a great smile. Our prayers are with Evelyn and her family and if there is anything I can do to help down the road, don't be afraid to ask. --- Pastor Tom

George's quiet presence at Calvary Baptist will be missed.  I always looked over at "their" pew to see if he and Evelyn were there.  Those few times he sang a solo were a blessing.

George was such a strong testimony of faithfulness to the end.  His kind smile and willingness to do anything he could to help at church (even while in pain) was an encouragement.  He will surely be missed.
