Buck attended Plymouth High School, received his Undergraduate Degree from Michigan State University, and his Masters Degree from Central Michigan University. He loved to serve God, Family, and Country. He proudly served in the Air Force and Navy, retiring from the Navy as Petty officer 1st Class after 24 years of military service. In addition to his service in the military, he worked as a civil servant at the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) for 12 years. They say do what you love and you’ll never work a day. It is at MSHDA where he realized his passion for real estate. From the time he left MSHDA until his death he was always either working on a new real estate deal, teaching the real estate business to someone who wanted to learn, or serving Bath Township on their housing commission to better help his neighbors and friends in the community.
Buck's faith was important to him and his passion for the Lord and community only grew as an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Haslett. His involvement at St. Luke’s included attending bible class, volunteering at their soup kitchen, serving a term as treasurer, and serving on the Safety Team.
He loved spending time with family, playing card games, watching the Detroit Tigers or the Michigan State Spartans, and relaxing at the lake. He was always quick with a beaming smile and especially loved his great-grandchildren.
Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Effie Kuisel, and his sister, Mary Ward. Surviving
