Harriet June Farr

Harriet June Farr, born August 10, 1940 to Harry and Ina McClain, passed away Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. Mrs. Farr was a very generous lady, always willing to help anyone. She loved her grandchildren with a fierce devotion. Harriet, former ASC Auto worker, currently enjoyed working as a server at Sam’s. She was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie. Mrs. Farr is survived by her sons, David (Cindy Burnett, Harriet’s “guardian angel”) Farr, Rick (Theresa) Farr and Timothy Farr; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sister, Linda Richmond; special friend, Phil Walter; and ex-husband, Wayne Farr. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge Street, DeWitt, Michigan, with Fr. Dwight Ezop presiding. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to mass at the church. The rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to give a warmest thank you to Lois, RN of Spasrrow Hospice for all her help and compassion.
