Born October 2, 1934 to Herbert H. and Agda D. (Nelson) in Traverse City, MI, passed away April 24, 2010. Herb was preceded in death by his parents and sister Rosalyn Adams. Surviving are: his wife of 50 years, Sharon; sisters, Leila (Owen) Bahle and Ethel Rushmore; children: Craig Brehmer of Durand and Amy Holmes of Lansing; grandchildren, Eric Holmes and Gayle Holmes and many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Suttons Bay High School followed by Michigan State University where he earned a degree for Civil Engineering. He retired after 35 years service with the Michigan Department of Transportation. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 12-2 P.M. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI, phone # 517-669-6465 followed by a Graveside service at Deepdale Cemetery in Lansing. In lieu of flowers, Please make contributions to St Paul Lutheran Church 3383 E.
