Ellen was such a lovely person. I worked with her and always enjoyed her sincerity, good humor and friendship. After my retirement, we had lunch together several times. And to the family--may loving memories bring you comfort and peace.

We were saddened to read of Hope's passing. We talked about her when we golfed just last week in North Carolina with a bright, spry, and kind lady in our foursome. I hired Hope for a job in a State position and she was never without a smile, kind word, or funny story to tell. It was six months into the job when I found out she preferred to be called Hope, she was just that way. I know of only a few people in my life that never said a bad word about others, was full of kindness, and had a radiant personality. While she will be missed in body, she will always be a pleasant and wonderful memory.

I was saddened to read of Hopes passing. She was the sweetest, kindess and most lovely "lady" that anyone could ever meet. My time spent as her caregiver will always be memorable to me, because everyday, all day, she had a smile on her face (like a "ray of sunshine"), a story to tell and a hug for most everyone she encountered. Susie and Rick, as well as Hopes'entire sympathy and thoughts are with you during your great loss.

Suzie, Mike, Pat.and Kim Robin.
I remember Aunt Hope as a child and the wonderful family gatherings that we had. Aunt Hope always made us feel like we belonged and always had time to listen to what we had to say. She was so pretty, cute and vivacious. Reading the messages others have written; she definitely never changed. I am sorry for your loss and happy that you had such wonderful parents. Cousin Linda

I feel so blessed to have known Hope. She was one of the best women I had ever met. I met her through my bestie Bonnie Danes-Duskey. I will always remember & cherish the times I spent at her home when I visited Mike & Bonnie many years ago when our children were young. And the years after that when I had the chance to see her. God Bless you Hope. You were a wonderful woman!! Love to the entire family. Lynn Gibson (formerly Berkheiser)
