We were so sorry to learn of Jim’s passing and our prayers go out to Matt, Alex and Rose and the rest of his family and friends! We were fortunate to meet Jim through our tailgating over the years on U of M football Saturdays and we would have Matt and Alex stay at our house when they were babies during the games! Jim was such a compassionate and caring person and we truly feel privileged to have had the opportunity to spend time with him over the years. He will truly be missed!

I worked with Jim on many projects over the last 11 years.  I was shocked to hear of his passing.  He will be missed.  I remember how he would bring his mother to  visit and spend time with him in Cambridge.   I always thought that he was very kind to bring her and to take her with him to the Michigan home football games.   

I knew Jim from him working at Colgate. He always had a smile & I enjoyed talking with him. I loved listening to him tell me about his family. He would always ask me how my husband was doing because he knew he had some health issues. Power of prayer he’d say power of prayer. I know God has a place for him in heaven because God only takes the best. Jim truly will be missed by those who knew him. 

I was deeply saddened to learn of Jim's passing. I got to know Jim at Colgate.  Such a talented engineer who cared about his work and for those he worked with. A great personality and sense of humor, he was a guy one never tired of talking with. We had many enjoyable conversations about everything under the sun.  To his family, please accept my deepest sympathy and know he will be sadly missed by many here in Cambridge and leaves a hole that will not be filled.

What a wonderful man. Generous, intelligent, sharing and thoughtful. I worked with Jim at Colgate and really admired his knowledge and friendship. I'm sad for your loss but happy to have known Jim. I will remember him fondly. 

Jim was a good engineer and a good friend. He will be missed by many, both personally and professionally.

I lost a dear friend and coworker, when you work with someone everyday and are friends outside of work then suddenly they are gone takes a toll for sure . He has been a great help to me. This man meant the world to so many people! I am so broken-hearted and pray for his family. You will be missed greatly Jim!!! You have set the bar high in so many ways. ❤️
