His sister and brother-in-law, Gayle and Dennis Lockwood and several nieces and nephews, survive him.
He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Gregory Geisenhaver, and sister-in-law, Beverly.
Jeff graduated in 1967 from Bath High School and retired from Sparrow Health systems. He lived in Florida for many of his retirement years.
Jeff loved all sports, but football was his favorite and he played in high school, and later for the Lansing All Starts and for the Pigs and Freaks Charity games. Through the years, he worked out at many area gyms, and at go Work Out where he was known as "Pops". He enjoyed classic cars, 60's music, and enjoyed singing to the tunes with his cousin, Brian, on many summer nights at Houghton Lake and with Jerry, a neighbor and friend in Florida.
Our family has many "Jeff stories" and we will continue to laugh and reminisce keeping him in our hearts.
We would like to thank the staff at Dobie Road-Ingham Medical Care that cared for Jeff these last two years. He spoke fondly of many of you and your concern for him will always be remembered.
He could make friends wherever he traveled and his home journey is now complete. And, if he is lucky and God willing, maybe he will be able to meet Elvis and Buddy Holly and sing a few tunes.
At the request of Jeff, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.
