OBITUARY

John Jacob Earls

February 11, 1980July 29, 2020

John accepted Jesus as his Savior as a middle school student. He graduated from DeWitt high School in 1998 and went on to Culinary School, working as a chef for more than 15 years. One of his greatest and proudest moments was the God given gift when his beautiful daughter Aden was born in 2013. He was so thankful for his job and his co-workers at the GM Lansing Grand River Plant. John had an awesome green thumb!

Survivors are his daughter, Aden; wife, Lisa; step children Ethan and Isabelle Swartz; parents, Jerry and Patti Earls; sister, Rebecca (Jason) Harte, niece and nephew, Gracyn and Calvin Harte; Aunt Pat Brown, all of DeWitt.; Aunt Jo and Uncle Robert Lyles and Aunt Rebecca Sanders of Greenfield, TN; numerous WONDERFUL cousins!

Jerry and Patty and Family I am so sorry to hear of Johns Passing I cant imagine your pain and grieving , I hope our Lord brings calm and peace to your hearts.
I met John 1 time when Jerry ask us safety boys to help load johns belonging in a trailer so he could move either to his culinary school or his first job? I think It was one of his first adventures alone, Jerry was so proud of John , he just beamed.Once again I am so sorry for your loss. Don Adams Portland Mi.

He was my nephew and I loved him like my own he was my own we had such great memories specially when he was a child spent summers in the south my heart is broken But I know he’s walking beside Jesus and he’ll be our guardian angel to keep us safe John will live through his daughter Aiden You look at her you look at John I pray for peace and comfort for All of us the knew John he will be dearly missed
