Julie will be dearly missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Mary Bettis.
Julie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Larry Updike; son, Blake (Carlee) Updike; daughter, Marcie Updike; grandson, Kitayi Burks; granddaughter, Kileigh Burks; brother, Bill Bettis; and Julie's loving dog, Sam.
A Celebration of Julie's Life will take place at 11:00 am Friday, March 22, 2019 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington St., DeWitt with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. The family will also greet visitors on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
