I knew Larry at work and I don't think I ever knew a kinder man.  He was always willing to go out of his way to be helpful.

Although I won't be at the service today, my thoughts & prayers will be.  May Renee and his family find strength, peace, and comfort.  

Remembering Larry, RIP 🙏

During my years at MSU, I always heard positive comments about Larry. He always had something good to say about others. I know he will be missed by the MSU family but mostly by his own family. May the Lord sustain Renee and his family has they miss this great man. 

Our Family cottage is right next to Larry and Renee. When our youngest Sarah was like 3 we could not find her anywhere and I was yelling her name frantically….I hear someone yell back “ Shes’s  in Larry’s basement” so I go to the basement the top of the house was not done yet and there she is laying on the couch watching TV and sucking her thumb. I was not happy and Larry was like “ She told me that you knew” it’s all good  but she got her butt chewed!!  He will be so missed!! 

Just a great guy. I worked with Larry  both at Cummings Industrial and MSU.  Always a happy go lucky guy .


Renee and Halley, you have my deepest condolences! I am so glad that our paths crossed with one another.  Larry was an awesome guy and friend. I can honestly say he was one of a kind, he was a great leader at work and always kept things fun and lighthearted.  I will miss hearing his laughter and the ability to get expert advice on fixing anything from A-Z.  He always amazed everyone with how he knew everything about everything lol!! He has definitely left us all too soon, but I have faith that god had something that needed fixed up there and Larry was the man for the job!! He will definitely be missed by all that knew him.

Larry was one of the nicest, friendliest fellow worker that I have had the pleasure of working around. I’m going to miss his smile. My condolences to the family.  

I am speechless.  Larry was a man of  few words, but every time he spoke he made me laugh.  I thought the world of him and especially admired the way he cared for his family.  I will never forget you, my friend.

How do we put into writing how much you mean to us Larry. You were a nephew by marriage, but you stayed in your Uncle Pat's life always and you welcomed me into the family. You called when you needed to talk, to check on Pat, to update us on family and every deer hunting season you sent pictures when you shot a deer. You and Renee spent precious vacation time visiting us in Florida. Your smile and your laugh made us laugh and we were always happy just being with you and Renee. You are a kind-hearted man Larry, and we wish for you to rest in peace. Our hearts are broken and we will miss you, but we will never forget you.  Our love, Uncle Pat & Jodi Mercer
