To Lucille’s family,

Your mother was one of the nicest women on this Earth. I worked with her for many years at Scott Elementary School and she was a wonderful librarian to my students. We kept in touch after she retired at St. Jude’s Church 5 pm mass. I’m sorry I didn’t get to her service, but my husband was in the hospital and sadly didn’t know she’d passed until this week’s bulletin. Lucille made the world a better place and was a role-model in using your retirement to serve others.

With a sad heart,
Tina Sharkey
