Margaret "Peg" Fauson

Margaret “Peg” Fauson of Stevensville, Michigan, was born May 23, 1918 and passed away April 23, 2013 at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Lewis Neuendorf; and beloved husband, Russell Fauson. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughter, Margrus (Jim) Kail of DeWitt, Michigan; sons Richard (Debbie) Fauson of North Carolina and Dennis Fauson of California; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Ellen (Jack) Hubler; one nephew, David (Judy) Hubler; and three nieces.

Mom owned Russ’s Highway Bar in Benton Harbor. After retiring from her business, she volunteered at the Lakeland Hospital gift shop for twenty-seven years. She was a loving mom and grandma and always helped her neighbors. Though a light from our lives has grown dim and a voice we loved is now still - there remains a special place in our hearts that forever with love will be filled.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, Michigan with Rev. Deanne Moore of Mt. Hope Church officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Deepdale Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
