One of my favorite childhood memories is standing around in the living room watching my aunts (Marguerite, Agnes and Elizabeth) and my mom Jean play Euchre. It was a fast paced, spirited contest and you had to pay attention just to keep up, far more fun than watching TV. I also remember the many times going to Aunt Marguerite’s and Uncle Ernie’s for family get togethers, the food, the noise and the fun we cousins had together. Aunt Marguerite was a great Lady, God Bless her time on this Earth and may her memory live on in all those she touched.

To the family, my deepest sympathy to you all! Not too long ago I heard about the passing of Carol.

May the God of all comfort, comfort and sustain you during this time of loss.

She was a great neighbor and mother of my friends.
Love and prayers,
Denny

I celebrate the life of Marguerite and send sympathy to all of her kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and great, great grandkids. I stayed at her house many times as a young girl and she was always kind and welcoming to me. As an adult, we had a few interesting conversations like when I drove her to go gambling one day. I'm not even sure why I got to take her but I sure am glad I did! Her strength is a beacon to me as a woman and mother. Rarely have I seen anyone with such a clear goal in life, to love and care for her family and she did this with abundance. I am proud to join the list of those who loved her.

Margaritas as such a special lady. Always had a smile and hello whenever or wherever our paths crossed. I knew her for years from waiting on her at the bank (formally Mich National Bank) to sitting by her in church every Sunday. Rest in Peace Marguerite in the arms of the angels under the watchful eye of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We were next door neighbors of Mrs Botke for almost 30 years . She was a wonderful person and so considerate. We loved living next to her and her daughter Carole for all those years. Remember her taking care of her garden, mowing grass and talking with her. So sorry for the family's loss.

Mike, Pat, and Martha, I am so sorry I cannot come to your mom's funeral. But please know I am praying for all of you in this most difficult time. I know she is in heaven with Carol and your dad along with my mom, Aunt Aggie and all the other family members. I have so many wonderful memories of family gatherings with all the sisters and their kids. The last Christmas I remember where all the sisters and kids came was at your mom's house. It was near 70* out and we all spent a lot of time that day outside. Your mom was a wonderful lady and a great aunt. Love, Barbara Harte
