Marilyn was a great influence on me and my many brothers and sisters while she babysat us as my sister Mary mentioned. She will always be remembered for her many years of great dedication to serving God in her work with CEF. Because of her hard work and love of Jesus there are many children who over the years have come to know Jesus as their Saviour. Thank you Marilyn for being a great example of what a servant of Christ should be.

Marilyn worked as secretary for my dad for several years in the 1960's. The office was attached to our house. Therefore, she was around a lot during my early years. She also babysat for us "Kruger" kids. She listened to us, gave us many words of wisdom, and lived by example.
Attached is a photo of her and Lavone at East Dewitt Bible Church in 1961. They were about to go to Prairie Bible Institute.

It was over 20 years ago that we meant Marilyn. My sons , David and Daniel were influenced by her kind gentle spirit. She did a great job influencing teenage boys! Both boys have used the teachings they received on many occasions. It was a blessing to work with Marilyn. She will be missed.

Marilyn was a faithful woman as she called me time and time again to ask if I was wanting to have a 5 Day Club at my home. Some summers I would think "Not this summer." Or "I am too tired." Or "There are no more children in the neighborhood!" But, she would encourage me, keep asking, and I would say "yes!" God then would work and bring kids. God used Marilyn Rossow in a mighty way in my life and she will be missed!
Dear Lord,
May I be an encouragement to others as Marilyn was to me!
In Your Name, amen

I did my internship in the Capital Area Child Evangelism Fellowship office with a GREAT group of people--Barth and Sally Middleton, Margaret Buxton, Marilyn Rossow, and James Vance. What a GREAT team to learn from. Marilyn did her work faithfully with a smile. She will be missed.

Marilyn was a faithful servant of the Lord as a missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship. I worked with her from 2005 until she retired in 2015 at Capital Area CEF, but knew her ever since I became a missionary with CEF in 1984. She taught me so much about faithfulness, and perseverance. She will be missed.
