Marilynn Margaret Knickerbocker

Marilynn Margaret Knickerbocker, 86, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on February 19, 2026. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great - grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her children Kelly Uebelhart, Kevin (Connie) Knickerbocker, Karrie Knickerbocker, Kathi (Skip) Shipley, Kory (Anissa) Knickerbocker, and Kris (Michelle) Knickerbocker; her grandchildren Amber, Shauna, Danielle (Taylor), Ben (Rebekah), Jordan, Zach (Amanda), Erin (Chris), Alyssa, Taylor (Logan), Ty (Allison), Zoe, Hannah, Cooper, Adriana, Matteo, Jacob (Katie), Levi, and William; her great - grandchildren Skyler, Sadye, Cameron, Logan, Hayden, Jayce, Oaklynn, Oliver, and Jane; and her beloved dog, Bentley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and August Mette; her brother, Richard Mette; and her grandson, John Uebelhart.

Marilynn will be remembered for her lifelong career in nursing-specializing in emergency department care, orthopedics, oncology, health and wellness, and medical rehabilitation-as well as for her wicked sense of humor, sharp wit, devotion to God, adventurous and fearless spirit, fierce and abiding love for her family, passion for gardening, family gatherings and summer days at the pool, adoration of her dog Bentley, and her gift for listening and offering honest, wise, and practical advice.

Her legacy of compassion, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
