

Marjorie Dawn Mull, 87, of DeWitt passed away Wednesday evening, July 9, 2025. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 23, 1937, to the late Roy Hayes Johnson and Frances Ann (Russell) Johnson. She attended the Hurd School and DeWitt Schools. She was unable to graduate high school with her classmates in 1957 due to a car accident but went back to school and graduated from DeWitt High School in 1975.
She was a life-long citizen of DeWitt, a homemaker by choice, raising her 3 children and serving in the community alongside her husband, Ronald Mull in several organizations. She was a faithful member of DeWitt Community Church, serving her Lord and Savior in many capacities. She was known for her delicious pies, potato salad, cinnamon rolls, etc. She loved to cook for family and friends; you never went hungry at the Mull house! Several neighborhood kids as well as friends of grandkids called her Grandma or Mom. She opened her home selflessly to all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Mull. Surviving are her children, Mike (Tessie) Mull, Ginger (Jeff) Holzhausen and Bobbi Ann (Dan) Hill; grandchildren, James Schwartze, Brian (Jen) Mull, Mickey (Kathie) Mull, Amy Holzhausen, Ben (Nicole) Holzhausen, Tim (Lauren) Hill, Emma (Jordan) Vasicek, Ruth (Riley) Hill; great grandchildren, Vianna Schwartze, Colton, Kenzie and Maverick Mull, Kaelyn, Landon, Harrison and Easton Holzhausen and Kaia Mull, brother-in-law, Rich (Leslie) Mull of California, as well as nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Margie’s life will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Maranatha Baptist Church, 2300 N. Waverly Road, Lansing. There will be a time of fellowship following the service at the church with desserts served.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church.
