He spent most of his early years in Ovid and graduated from Grove Christian School. Mark was known for his contagious smile and quick wit. He would bring joy and laughter to others just by being around him. His skills included house painting, body work, engine repair, welding, carpentry, and HVAC just to name a few. He was self-taught and shared this knowledge with others. It did not matter what the task was, he would take it on and complete it with ease. He loved to spend time outdoors with his friends snowmobiling, four wheeling (Ford Trucks!!) and trail riding. He especially loved the time he spent with his kids at sporting events, hunting and family activities. He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He treasured the time he had with his wife and best friend, going on multiple trips together. Mark was employed as a truck driver for McKearney Asphalt.
Mark is survived by his wife, Alaina; three children, Sydnee, Rylee, Ethyn; and stepson, Damian Lytle. Also surviving him are his stepdad and mother, Robert and Connie Albright of Lowell; his brothers, Craig (Sheila) and Chad (Lisa) both of DeWitt; as well as nieces, Sophie and Carly; and nephews, Meric and Trevor. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dennis. He will be missed by all, but his memories will last a lifetime.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2022 at Gorsline Runciman DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington St., from 10 AM until the service at 2:00 PM.
Those seeking to make a memorial in Mark’s name can do so by donating to his children’s future in care of Alaina Dennis.
