Minnie Todd

Minnie (Moreland) Todd, 98, of Bath passed away peacefully on July 5, 2019. She was born in Ramsey, Illinois on November 17, 1920 to Lester and Lucy Moreland. She was the fifth of eight children: Jesse, Edith, Laurel, Kirby, Minnie, May, Elva and Ida.

She married Verne Blair Todd in Ithaca, Michigan on June 24th, 1940 and created a loving home for her four boys, Jerry, Allen, Harley and Vernon. She was baptized into the Church of Christ. She was an active participating member of the Rebekah’s organization. She loved flowers, watching birds, playing Yahtzee and was an avid bowler up to the age of 85.

Minnie is survived by sons, Jerry (Su) Todd, Allen Todd, Harley (Jewel) Todd, Vernon Todd: grandchildren Tracy (Roy) Ayers, Tami Todd, Tanya (Dennis Shawa) Wright, Mike (Andi) Todd, Matt (Kami) Todd, David Todd, Margaret (Scott) Cox, Anthony (Jennifer) Todd, Melanie (Cedric) Hawley: 19 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Minnie was preceded in death by husband Verne Todd and daughters-in-law RaeAnne (Allen) Todd and Judy (Jerry) Todd.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 11th at 1:00pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington Street, DeWitt. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
