From the extended Hanson Family
We all have lovely memories of Dick (cousin / nephew) and Joyce and especially from our trip to Voyager National Park together. A week together on a house boat and no way to get off except an occasional fishing trip in a rowing boat with small outboard or in a canoe.
What a wonderful time with wonderful people. Dick really enjoyed catching dinner.
And he sure enjoyed filleting the days catch and making beer battered fish.
We enjoyed the eating and the great company.
We will miss Dick.
Our sincere condolences to the entire Getter family.

Am so very sorry, Joyce, for your lose.

Bill and I met and shared time with Dick and Joyce when we spent several winters at Paridisdn RV Resort in AZ. We all needed to have a break from the Michigan winters.

Dick was a good man and we sincerely enjoyed his company..

May you Rest In Peace, Dick.
Many Blessings to all the family. 🙏

I worked with Dick for many years in St.Johns . He always made the day Interesting with his character. He was always looking out for all of us and wasn't shy on letting management know . We had trouble with wire quite often and when we were asked about overtime? This is what I heard . "When the wire is better....you can count on Getter." Prayers for his family at this time.

After having Jordyn , Uncle Dick came to visit . As he was holding her, he said how cute she was and that he was going to take her home. He sure loved little kids.
Another memory I have is while at deer camp, Dick talked me into taking his camp clothes home to wash them. So I did and then returned then the next weekend only to have him leave for home the next day. He sure was a trickster.
