Robert A. Cleaver

DeWitt, MI

Born November 4, 1941 to Fred and Elaine (Schroeder) Cleaver, passed away May 16, 2011 at the age of 69. Robert is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol; 2 daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Kardasz, Rebecca Cleaver; 1 grandson, Alexander Kardasz; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. He graduated from Pigeon High School in 1959. After finishing high school Robert was drafted into the Army where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Ferris State University, was a member of the Civitan Club, enjoyed traveling, fishing and going to the casino. Robert was also an avid MSU fan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge Street, Dewitt on Friday, May 20, (with visitation 1 hour prior), with Rev. Dwight M. Ezop as celebrant. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, with Rosary being prayed at 7:30 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to Disabled American Veterans, Capitol City Chapter Eight, P.O.
