Was surprised and saddened to read of Ruth's passing. She was a wonderful positive lady and a real asset to our church at Chapel Hill in Battle Creek. I saw her at her home in DeWitt a couple months ago and she was very talkative and warm.
She had a strong faith, but will be missed I know by all who knew her.
Our prayers go out to all of her family and friends.
With thoughts and prayers,
Rev. Dr. Jim Gysel

In memory of Aunt Ruth...

Although it has been many years since I've been around Aunt Ruth, I remember her fondly and think of her often. I was in Ohio about 6 or 8 years ago and had a chance to spend about an hour with her at Joan and Fred Needs' home. She had such a quick mind and remembered many things. It was a joy to be able to visit with her after so many years. When I was younger, I enjoyed going to Uncle Jack and Aunt Ruth's home. I know you will miss her very much and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hope I can see you all again sometime.

Love and Prayers,

To all my wonderful Haggerty Family. Aunt Ruth was such a wonderful woman and an inspiration to all. Every time her and grandma got together there was never a dull moment. Her smile could light up a room and her stories could have you laughing for days. She will truly be missed. Love you all!
