Sandy has flown to heaven, to join her mother Goldie, dad John, father-in-law Ken and all those who were waiting to greet her, especially dear friends Vickie Fenn and Dick Place, who also left us too early. She is deeply missed by her husband Gerry, son Darrell and daughters Andrea and Renee. She was never as worried about herself, as she was about her family, making sure they were safe and secure. All those who knew Sandy will miss her smile, her humor and her teasing. She loved all animals, birds, the sound of waterfalls, a good joke, good plain food and friends. She longed to be close to Lake Superior and the North woods again. In her darkest hour she could smile and make sure that you were OK and not worrying about her. Sandy was born August 23rd, 1943 in Lansing, MI and passed away on September 5th, 2010 at the St. Lawrence Hospice House in Lansing. In following her wishes, cremation has taken place. When you hear a thunder storm, a waterfall, a wind chime or somebody laughing, remember her smile and her love for all.
