He was born on September 23, 1933, in DeWitt, Michigan, to Robert and Theresa Fedewa of South Riley. He was a dedicated farmer, Army veteran, and a faithful St. Jude’s and Knights of Columbus member. Stan’s life was defined by hard work and willingness to help others.
Stan served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He then devoted himself to building a successful dairy farm business. He nurtured and cultivated the land with care.
Known for his dry sense of humor he brought laughter to those around him. If you knew Stan, you would have been audience to his terrific story telling based on his many adventures and long memory for names, places, and details.
Stan is survived by his devoted wife and partner through life’s journeys, Bernice; his children: John (Tony), Angela, Dean (Yi), and Eric (Tina); and his seven beloved grandchildren.
A celebration of Stan’s life will be held at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, DeWitt, at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Knights of Columbus, honoring Stan’s spirit of community service.
