Mrs. Terrie Lee Philip, loved by all, passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 80. She was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nana, aunt, and friend. She was born on October 19, 1943, to Agnes and Glenard Bristol.
Terrie was a member of the Catholic Community of St. Jude in DeWitt and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Muskegon. She was active in her church, lending her beautiful voice to the choir and creating life-long friendships at St. Jude. She had a commitment to community service, joining numerous volunteer works, including Sacred Suds of Muskegon, MI.
A nurturer at heart, Terrie had a fulfilling career as an R.N., retiring from Sparrow after 40 years of service in various sectors of nursing.
As empty-nesters, Terrie and (late husband) Lou found a love of the water and spent their weekends boating on Lake Muskegon and Lake Michigan. After retirement, they moved to Muskegon to be near the beach and water full-time. There, they created many sunny memories with their grandsons, family, and friends.
Terrie moved back to DeWitt in 2019. She resided, in great care and support, at The Woodlands of Dewitt.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Anthony Philip; mother, Agnes Caruss; father, Glenard Bristol; brother, Richard Bristol; sister, Marylou Stobby; and sister, Karen Bundy.
She is survived by her three children, Leslie (Dan) Batchelor, Gina Lisenby (John), and Anthony Louis Philip; three grandsons, Jacob and Lucas Polack and Keagan Batchelor; her cherished sister, Penny (Terry) Carlson; loving friends, Jackie Dorr and Ginny Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
