Terry was born on June 6th, 1953 to Orville and Norma Rouse in Bad Axe, Ml.
After graduating from East Lansing High School, he served in the Army until he was honorably discharged. Terry then began his career with the Michigan State Police in June 1977 (Recruit School #91). He served at several posts including Ithaca, Bridgeport, Detroit Intelligence, E. Lansing Intelligence, and the Gaylord CID. He retired in September 2007 as a Detective Lieutenant after serving 30 years.
Terry was very active in the Knights of Columbus and loved his family. He was the son of the late retired F/Lt. Orville Rouse. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gary. He is survived by his sister Sherri
(Bob) Jenkins; his three children, Carrie (Jim) Fidler, Kelly (Eric) Rouse, Alicia (James) Paterni; his seven grandchildren, Ayden, Ava, Allison, Savannah, Edison, Adelyn, Cale and his Niece and Nephew, Michelle and Michael. also enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing and watching cooking shows.
He will be missed tremendously!

A visitation for Terry will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington St., DeWitt, Michigan, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
