Thelma Ramona Brooke

Thelma Ramona Brooke of St. Johns, Michigan went to be with the Lord while surrounded by family on April 12, 2019. Thelma was born to Grover and Sylvia (Green) Gilmore on April 6, 1930 in Gallia County, Ohio. She married Louis Neal Brooke on December 29, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio. He preceded her in death on their 43rd wedding anniversary and now they are reunited. She was also preceded in death by her four sisters, Eileen, Ann, Jenny, and Juanita. Thelma is survived by their three sons, Craig (Jeana), John (Linda), Phil (Dianne); 12 grandchildren and 20 great grand children. Thelma loved spending time with family, baking, watching Michigan State Spartans with her grandson Michael, and spending time with her best friend of 60 years, Imogene McNeilly. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Dewitt Chapel 205 E Washington, Dewitt MI 48820. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the start of the funeral service.
