Yvonne Timko, age 82, of Dewitt, Michigan passed away surrounded by her family, on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Yvonne was born on Christmas Day in 1935 to Rose (Winslow) and Fredrick Burnham. She was so tiny so was not expected to survive so she became known as the Christmas miracle baby. Yvonne enjoyed sewing, quilting, garage sales, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband and love of her life for 62 years, Steve; daughters, Phyllis Daniels (Coleman), Joan Clark (DeWitt); sons, Paul Timko, Mitch Timko (both of Lansing), Mark Timko (California); 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Pat (Eugene) Craft (Eaton Rapids), Rosemary Snellenberger (East Lansing); and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Chuck and Lyle Burnham; sisters, Sandy Burnham, Jo Ann Aikman; and her best friend, her dog, Scruffy.
Per Yvonne's wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel. A Celebration Of Yvonne's Life will take place at a future date. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Alzheimer's Association, Great Lakes Chapter.
