

Earl was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent his career in the petrochemical industry. After more than twenty-five years of service, he retired from Koch Oil Industries.
Earl was extremely proud to have served his country as an Army medic from 1963 to 1966. He was also a member of Ascension #251 F & AM. A devoted family man, he wholeheartedly supported his children in all their endeavors. He volunteered as a Little League baseball coach and earned the distinction of honorary Black Belt.
In his younger years, Earl was an avid muscle car enthusiast. He was an intelligent and talented man with a remarkable aptitude for mathematics and a gift for art, able to draw nearly anything he set his mind to. His kindness, dedication, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of fifty-six years, Helena Pizzolato Evans; four sons, Albert Evans Jr. (Glenda), Jason Sotile, Anthony “Scott” Evans and Frank Evans; three grandchildren, Madeline Sotile, Albert “Jacob” Evans and Miranda Evans; his sister, Donna Nicholas and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Maggie Dungan Evans.
The family would like to thank Marilyn Landry, Gwendolyn Goodwin, Allyson Thibodaux, Lawrence and Patty Anderman for their care and support throughout their time of need.
