Angel found great happiness in connecting with others and never met a stranger. Angel brought smiles to all who engaged with her, even if only a simple “hello!”. Whether she was spending time with family, gathering with friends, or simply sharing a conversation, her warmth and kindness made everyone feel welcome and loved. She had a deep love for music, which brought joy to her everyday life, and she cherished the time she spent at school creating memories and building friendships. Above all, she treasured her family, especially the special bond she shared with her sister. Her beautiful smile, caring heart, and ability to bring people together will forever be remembered by all who were blessed to know and love her.
At just 14 years old she found genuine joy and peace in her faith. Her love for Jesus gave her strength, comfort and a sense of purpose beyond her years. She approached each day with kindness, compassion and hope, striving to live according to the values she believed in. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and it inspired the love she shared with her family, friends and everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though her time was far too short, the light of her faith and the warmth of her heart will continue to inspire those who loved her.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to all the nurses, staff, teachers and paraprofessionals at Sorrento Primary & St. Amant Middle Schools, and all who cared for her during her wonderful life.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask to consider a donation to Louisiana Special Olympics
or Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital Miracle Foundation.
A memorial visitation will be at St. Anne Catholic Church in Sorrento, LA, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. The interment for Angel will be private.
