

Anthony "Tony" Latino Sr., age 95, a native and former resident of Donaldsonville and a resident of French Settlement, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Anthony was born January 11, 1927.
Tony was an avid bass fisherman and loved to garden. He was a veteran of the US Navy and US Air Force serving during WWII and Korean War. Tony worked at Ormet for 33 years.
Tony is survived by his wife, Sadie Boudreaux Latino; daughter, Tenna Crimn; sons, Anthony Latino, Jr. and Steven Wayne Latino; 4 sisters, Virgie Falcon, Rosemary Roy, Anna Marsolo and Angie Harvey; 3 brothers, Frank Latino, Sam Latino and Henry "Chick" Latino; 3 grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel and Layne; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frances Leon Latino; sister, Jenny "Tut" Landry; 3 brothers, Vincent "Bean", Roy and Marion Latino.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Rabalais, Dennis Latino, Steven Latino, Frank Latino, Bryan Schaubhut, Bobby Harris, David Latino, Sam Latino, Matt Schaubhut. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Carl Luikart, Dr. John Thomas, Dr. Kodi Crisp-Coleman, Glynn Nickens and Joel Campanile.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Ascension Catholic Church, Donaldsonville from 10am - 12pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Jason P. Palermo at 12pm at Ascension Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Ascension Mausoleum.
