Audrey was a devoted Catholic who cherished her faith and was a faithful parishioner of St. Jules Catholic Church. Prayer was an important part of her life, and she found great comfort and strength in her relationship with God. Audrey had a selfless heart and always put the needs of others before her own. She was a loving and compassionate caregiver who took great joy in caring for those around her. Audrey was also an excellent cook and baker, sharing her love through the many delicious meals and treats, especially her famous coconut cake she prepared for family and friends. Her faith, generosity, and caring spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her four children, Alex Cedotal Jr., Patricia Chedville (Billy), Rhonda Cedotal (Amos) and Nelson Giroir Jr. (Roxie); nine grandchildren, Joetta, TC, Nicole, Lundey, Nikki, Alexis, Rekesha, Jessie and Keion and numerous great grandchildren and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Giroir Sr.; father to three of her children, Alex Cedotal Sr. and her parents, Gus and Earline Giroir.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Old Jefferson Community Care Center for their compassionate care, kindness, and unwavering support.
The family kindly asks, in lieu of flowers, monetary donations be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at St. Jules Catholic Church, in Belle Rose, LA from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
