

She enjoyed dancing, cooking, and raising her children. She loved spending time with family and friends. She most enjoyed the time she spent with her husband “Pookie” of 61 years. She was a kind and gentle soul who never met a stranger.
She is survived by her three daughters, Darrelyn Hutson (Ray), Tammy Cedotal, and Melissa Giandelone (Lane); two sons, Edward Cedotal Jr. and Jeremy Cedotal; one sister, Theresa Scioneaux; nine grandchildren, Brittany Adam (Thomas), Hanna Giandelone, Jenna Giandelone, Meegen Cedotal, Blake Cedotal, Antoine Cedotal, Alexandre Cedotal, Joshua Hutson, and Michael Hutson (Heather); two great-grandchildren, Emily Bell and Natalie Bell; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Pookie” Cedotal Sr.; her sons, Jeffery and Bernard Cedotal; granddaughter Chelyn Cedotal; and her parents, May and Benoit LeBlanc.
Services will be held at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 9:00 A.M. with mass services to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the church mausoleum.
