Carolyn Simoneaux Blanchard

Carolyn Simoneaux Blanchard, resident of Brusly St. Martin, born on February 25, 1937, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 30, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Raymond Blanchard Sr.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy B. and Warren J. Coupel Sr., Wendy B. and Damian Anastasio, and Michelle B. and Alcee “A.J.” Bourge III; four sons and daughters-in-law, Bobbi S. and Perry Blanchard, Cynthia and Raymond Blanchard, Jr., Sarah and Claude Blanchard, II, and Troy J. Blanchard; 15 grandchildren, Jeremy and Matthew Blanchard, Warren Coupel Jr., Blaire Clement, Nichole Blanchard, and Amanda Deslatte, Chad and Rachael Blanchard, Daniel and Ryan Simoneaux, Brooke Chism and Candice Blanchard, A.J., Alaina, and Luke Bourge; six great grandchildren, Alexis Blanchard, Kaine, Cadence, and Hunter Coupel, Aubree Clement, and Andrew Blanchard; three brothers Huey Sr., Felix Jr., and Kenneth Simoneaux; and numerous relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Vivian and Felix Simoneaux Sr.; brother Honoré Simoneaux; and two daughters-in-law Karen and Gina Blanchard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville, at 8:00 a.m. until Religious Service at 10:00 a.m. Conducted by Reverend Don Williams. Entombment to follow at St. Jules Catholic Mausoleum.
