Carolyn "Peecha" Alexander Korner

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Carolyn adored her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed being outside, cooking, Bingo, going to the casino, the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans.

Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Brent Korner and wife, Jodi; four grandchildren, Brennan Korner, Raelyn Lee, Kalep Korner, and Katelin Korner. She was recently reunited with her daughter, Tracy Hanagriff and husband, Charlie; one granddaughter, Kayla Ayers and husband, Ricky and three great grandchildren, Adely Sullivan, Sawyer Ayers, and Porter Ayers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence "Coon" and Amy Rivet Alexander and four siblings, Herd Rodrigue, Aurelie Jones, Coach CJ Alexander, and Gerald Alexander Sr.

A memorial will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 9am until Prayer Service in our Chapel at 11am conducted by Rev. Matt Dupre. Entombment to follow in the Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church Cemetery.
