Cheryle J. Blanchard

She was an active member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and served as a member of the Bereavement Committee. She was also a member of the Assumption High School Band Parents Club. She enjoyed gardening, camping, baking, fishing and dancing but most of all loved her family. She was a caring, selfless loving soul.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Keith G. Blanchard; four grandchildren, Beaux, Ashlyn and Orry Rodrigue and Victoria Winters; three brothers, Mark Jones (Diane), Cole and Adam Peterson (Kelly); stepmother, Gloria Burrows (Gordon); two sister-in-laws, Gina St. Germain and Janet Jones; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Maudie Jones; daughter, Miranda Pitre; brother, David Jones; father-in-law, Robert Blanchard; mother-in-law, Itzy Blanchard; and sister-in-law, Raye Simoneaux.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville. Then to continue on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial for 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum. Father Tomi Thomas will be officiating.
