Cindy Ann Ourso

Ann was a loving twin, sister, aunt, godmother, cousin, and friend whose kindness and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her. She loved her nieces and nephews unconditionally, always making them feel cherished and supported. Ann lived life on her own terms with quiet strength and independence. She took great pride in her yard, her home and being a twin.

Some of her greatest pleasures were bottled Coke, a box of Sno-Caps and her favorite Biscoff cookies. Those little treats brought her happiness and an appreciation for the little things that made each day special. Her greatest claim to fame was her famous Sensation salad dressing, a family favorite that only she could seem to make.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sister, Lori Ourso Babin, brother in-law, Dennis Caballero; nieces and nephews, Celie Webre (Gary), Kaye Templet (Marty), Paul Caballero (Penny), John Ourso (Stephanie), Chad Ourso (Mendy), Thomas Ross Babin, and Philip Babin; great nieces and nephews, Isabel Webre, Anna Webre, Jane Templet, Sam Templet, Mackenzie Caballero, Cameron Caballero, Porter Ourso, Miles Ourso, Beaux Ourso, and Ethan Ourso and her life-long dear friend, Clare Weil Neely.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eucharist “EJ” Ourso and Marjory Barbier Ourso; siblings, Philip Ourso, Nancy Ourso, twin brother, Sidney “Tuba” Ourso, and Cecile “Cissy” Caballero, who passed earlier the same day as Ann.

Pallbearers will be Lannie Denoux Jr., Gary Webre, Marty Templet, Paul Caballero, John Ourso, Thomas Ross Babin, Philip Babin, and Sam Templet.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, located at 716 Mississippi Street, Donaldsonville, LA, from 9 am until the Mass

of Christian Burial at Noon. Celebrating the Mass will be Fr. Kurt Young, Fr. Parker Thompson, and Fr. Matt Dupre. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
