David Roy Pilley

Born on September 7, 1953, in Lake Charles, LA, David was a man whose vibrant personality and unique spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him. A master storyteller, David had quick wit and a sharp sense of humor which made him an unforgettable character to friends and strangers alike. David’s life was a celebration of camaraderie and joy. He never met a stranger as he had an uncanny ability to connect with all walks of life.

He is survived by his children Toby Pilley (Bre), Jenna Perin (Jacob) and Taylor Pilley; grandchildren, Dylan Britt (Harley), Emily and Toby Pilley, and Jax Perin; great grandchildren Korynn and Stevie Britt; siblings, John Christopher Pilley, Eileen Bossier, Erin Pilley, Kevin Pilley (Nicole), as well as numerous other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Pilley; mother, Margaret Pilley; and sister, Colleen.

David will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will live on in the countless stories he shared and the joy he spread throughout his life.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 9:00 am until A Moment of Remembrance for 11:00 am at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville.
