Doris Rodrigue Clifton

Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was loved by all who knew her. Doris was one of the most selfless and strongest ladies ever. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, playing cards, watching sports, and puzzles.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three sons, Clarence "Bootsy" Clifton Jr. (Susan), Dennis Clifton (Isabel Cristina), and Christopher Clifton (Ramona); one daughter-in-law, Mitzi Clifton; six grandchildren, Rebecca Clifton, Michael Clifton, Jamie C. Rogillo, Beau Clifton, Abby C. Acosta, and Meggie Clifton; eleven great grandchildren, and three siblings, AC Rodrigue, Ronald Rodrigue, and Winona Strahan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Lindy" Clifton Sr.; two sons, Michael Clifton and Lynn Clifton; one grandson, Jason Clifton, and her parents, AC Rodrigue Sr. and Corrine.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Francis of Assis Catholic Church in Donaldsonville. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
