Eileen was a loving sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She cherished spending time with her sisters and treasured the moments they shared together. Eileen enjoyed reading and crocheting, finding comfort and creativity in these simple pleasures. She was well known for drinking her famous cherry bounce wine, a special tradition that became a memorable part of who she was.
She is survived by her three sisters, Rosemary Bolotte (Ralph), Wanda Millet and Barbara Simpson (Scott) and her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry Sr. and Rosemary Simon Luquette and her four siblings, Larry Luquette Jr., Marilyn Ourso, David Luquette and baby boy Luquette.
A visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, LA, on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
