

Emelda R. “Totoon” Guillot, 102, a native of Paincourtville and resident of Napoleonville, died on Saturday, September 14, 2013. She is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley Guillot, Lorraine and Philip Rodrigue, Rita and Pete Charlet, and Irene and Greg Watson; three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Jane Guillot, Danny and Alma Guillot, Ricky and Robin Guillot; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Guillot, Sr.; daughter, Nellie Guillot; son, Russell Rodriguez; grandson Philip “Bubba” Rodrigue, Jr.; granddaughter, Kim Charlet; five sisters, Palmire Albarado, Alida Hernandez, Mabel Cavalier, Gursey Loar, and Ella Raffray; and six brothers, Fabian “Bean”, Allen, Wilson, George, Dudley, and Norman Raffray.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church in Plattenville. Interment to follow in church cemetery. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Manor, Cardinal Hospice, Dr. Keith Landry, Fr. Andrew Merrick, and Fr. Paul Gros.
